From here is was a matter of pulling off the front and rear bumper and grill. I sprayed these bolts in PB blaster for a few days before jumping into it. Just about every bolt unscrewed with minimal effort except for one wich of course came at the end and when I was cold and ready to go home. A quick round with the grinder made short work of it. I was considering the smoother looking grill of the 1954 Buick and compared the top bar once mine was removed. Although it had similar shape, it was quite a bit different because the nose of this car comes forward so if i go through with it, I will need to do some considerable modification. It may require the bottom lip from a 54 hood to be sectioned off and grafted off and exchanged with the lip of this hood. Furthermore the top bar wraps around right where the rusted sections are below the lights and might be a good way to cut out and hide those parts.
